Chelsea star Kai Havertz took to Twitter to give fans an insight into his journey back to full fitness after testing positive for coronavirus earlier this month.
The German youngster was set to feature in the club’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Rennes at the start of November, but was forced to self-isolate before kick-off.
He also missed Chelsea ‘s 4-1 victory against strugglers Sheffield United in the Premier League before the international break.

Havertz, who has registered three goal contributions in eight top-flight appearances this season, showed fans a glimpse of his recovery progress on Twitter by posting a photo of himself using an exercise bike at home.
The caption reads: “Working on keeping the fitness levels.”
It remains to be seen whether or not the 21-year-old will be involved for Chelsea as they travel to Newcastle United next weekend, but the signs are encouraging.
Mateo Kovacic came into the side in the absence of Havertz and performed well, leaving Frank Lampard with a decision to make.
The Blues are in good form after turning around their shaky start to the season.
