Five Chelsea players Marina Granovskaia should sell to fund Jude Bellingham transfer

Chelsea are preparing themselves to see five of their first-team players leave the club this January, according to Eurosport, who have published a list that includes striker Olivier Giroud.

The forward is closing in fast on Thierry Henry’s record for French national team goals (51) after scoring twice last night for his nation.

Giroud scored his 43rd and 44th goals for Les Blues, leaving him just seven behind Henry’s all-time record.

Those goals will have sent a message to Chelsea and Frank Lampard who has only handed the frontman 33 minutes of Premier League action this term.

Eurosport say talks will take place regarding his future soon, with Inter Milan ready to offer him a way out of Stamford Bridge, reuniting him with Antonio Conte – and also claims that Antonio Rudiger is looking to force a move away from the club too.

And his exit could help to fund a push to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Two more who could leave this summer are goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, news that will come as no shock to Chelsea fans, and Emerson.

Kepa was replaced early during the summer by Edouard Mendy and, during his brief return to the squad against Southampton, made a glaring error that many feel cost Blues a goal.

It is said that a loan exit for the duo during January is expected, allowing the club to prepare for the summer when they are tipped to look to sell them both.

And Jorginho’s exit will likely be similar, say Eurosport, with sources claiming that the Italian has plenty of option in Serie A, even if interest from Juventus has faded.

Rudiger, meanwhile, is said to be of interest to Roma amongst other offers, with the defender who has not played a minute yet this season said to be pushing to leave.
