Jorginho’s agent flirting with moves back to Italy? Well we haven’t heard anyth… oh wait. Check.
The midfielder’s representative doesn’t let a fortnight pass by without letting some quotes out that hint his client may be off for a reunion with his old boss Maurizio Sarri, and this November is no exception.
Calcio Mercato clearly have a direct line to the former Napoli man’s agent, and the latest quotes from Joao Santos make it all starkly clear:
“He’s very happy with Frank Lampard and Chelsea can do even better than last season… we’re waiting to see where Sarri goes, and if it’s a big club in Italy, Jorginho could follow him.”
The question is – where does Sarri go next? He’s not working this season after being sacked off by Juventus at the end of his only campaign there, and so far no other team has taken the plunge.
Of course if he were to go to Roma or Inter maybe Jorginho would be tempted.
But would J5 really want to go and play at Genoa or Livorno? We’re not so sure.
