Chelsea transfer rumours: Jerome Boateng ‘open’ to switch, Olivier Giroud again linked with move

Chelsea returned to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon in impressive fashion, with a 2-0 win at Newcastle United.

The likes of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy were all strong for Frank Lampard’s side as his signings continue to improve.

With that said, Lampard could look for even more additions in the January window, and here is the latest edition of Chelsea transfer rumours.

Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng would be open to a move to London, amid links to Chelsea, according to BILD.

Boateng has been linked with a move to the Blues, as well as their city rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The 32-year-old looks likely to leave the German giants next summer, with his contract at the Allianz Arena expiring at the end of the season.
