Chelsea supporters have been reacting to their Under-18s side’s 8-1 victory over Barnsley.
The young Blues made a perfect start to this season’s FA Youth Cup as they cruised past the Tykes. Jude Soonsup-Bell scored four times, with Valentino Livramento, Lewis Bate and Ben Elliott also scoring for Ed Brand’s side at Kingsmeadow.
Chelsea are now in the fourth round of the competition, with another opportunity for the youngsters to show their talents.
Soonsup-Bell – who is just 16 – produced a breathtaking individual performance for the Blues; which actually made him the first Chelsea player to score four times in a single match in the FA Youth Cup for 59 years.

The teenager’s final goal was the pick of the bunch, after some good work from the left-hand side allowed him to move into a more central position, before backheeling the ball past the Barnsley goalkeeper.
Blues supporters have been reacting to their youngster’s incredible display on Saturday afternoon – and many of them are very excited about what the future holds.
One supporter actually said that Livramento, who scored in the 8-1 demolition, would be heading to the top after another top performance from the 18-year-old. The London-born midfielder has scored once in seven Premier League 2 games so far this season, but added to his tally in the FA Youth Cup victory.
