Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been linked with a move to Juventus in the January transfer window.
Despite starting four of the Blues’ last six Premier League matches and scoring against Leeds United, Wolves, and Aston Villa, the France international hasn’t quite established himself as the first-choice centre-forward ahead of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham.
As a result, talk of a potential move to Serie A from Chelsea this month has increased due to comments from Andrea Pirlo.
“He’d be handy!” the Juve boss told told DAZN, as per Football Italia, after his side beat Udinese 4-1 at the weekend. “The window opens tomorrow [Monday], we already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities.”

If Giroud was to make the move to Juventus he will be reunited with his former Arsenal teammate in Aaron Ramsey, who is now in his second full season with the Old Lady.
And judging by the Welshman’s previous comments about the Blues striker, he would relish linking up again.
“He’s a fantastic player with many qualities and to score 100 goals is an amazing achievement and he joins a very select few,” Ramsey said after Giroud scored his 100th goal for the Gunners a few years ago.
“Congratulations to him, we’re delighted to have him in our team and hopefully he’ll score a lot more.
“I think he’s a great player. He can score a lot of goals, he’s very good technically and can hold defenders off, he scores a lot of headers and his link up play as well is very good.
“I like to play off him. He has a good understanding of the runs that I make and I try to play off him.
“We’ve had a few goals where we’ve combined well together.
