Aaron Ramsey has already delivered his verdict on Olivier Giroud as Juventus seek transfer

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been linked with a move to Juventus in the January transfer window.

Despite starting four of the Blues’ last six Premier League matches and scoring against Leeds United, Wolves, and Aston Villa, the France international hasn’t quite established himself as the first-choice centre-forward ahead of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham.

As a result, talk of a potential move to Serie A from Chelsea this month has increased due to comments from Andrea Pirlo.

“He’d be handy!” the Juve boss told told DAZN, as per Football Italia, after his side beat Udinese 4-1 at the weekend. “The window opens tomorrow [Monday], we already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities.”

“He’s a fantastic player with many qualities and to score 100 goals is an amazing achievement and he joins a very select few,” Ramsey said after Giroud scored his 100th goal for the Gunners a few years ago.

“Congratulations to him, we’re delighted to have him in our team and hopefully he’ll score a lot more.

“I think he’s a great player. He can score a lot of goals, he’s very good technically and can hold defenders off, he scores a lot of headers and his link up play as well is very good.
