Chelsea face west London rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, giving the Blues a day extra than expected to prepare for the match.
The game was originally scheduled for Friday night, however, due to Fulham’s rearranged clash with Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, the fixture has been moved back 24 hours.
The extra day’s rest and preparation will be sure to benefit Frank Lampard’s side and gives the injured players a little more time to prove their fitness to the boss.
After a run of just one win in six Premier League games, Lampard is sure to pick a strong side for the local derby.

Reece James
Earlier in the week, Reece James was a major doubt for the trip to Craven Cottage, however, it looks like the 21-year-old right-back may be in contention for a start after the England international was spotted training on Tuesday.
The young defender has nailed down the right-back slot this season replacing experienced club captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
James’ return will be a huge boost for Frank Lampard, with Chelsea currently on a poor league run the return of his preferred right-back will be welcome news for the boss.

Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva seem to be the preferred pairing for the Blues, but the option of resting and rotating his defenders will be a boost for Lampard.
