The situation of Olivier Giroud has been up and down for months now, but it looked like he would be staying at Chelsea this month. Anything can happen though right up until the final minute of the window, and Giroud’s situation is not set in stone.
West Ham could take advantage of this and attempt to sign him, with the France international being a ‘prime target’ for them, according to Eurosport.
However, West Ham are concerned about the complexities of his situation and that it could drag on to late in the window without Chelsea making a decision on whether he is allowed to move on.
