We ‘signed’ Erling Haaland for Chelsea in the summer of 2021 with amazing results

Despite spending big ahead of the current season, Chelsea are being linked with a big-money move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland in the 2021 summer transfer window, who would likely command a huge transfer fee.

Despite being just 20 years of age, Haaland is already considered one of the best strikers in world football, with the Norwegian forward scoring a frankly ridiculous 35 goals in just 34 appearances for Dortmund, after joining the club from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.

And according to Sky Sports Italia, Haaland is Chelsea’s top transfer target for the summer of 2021, alongside West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.

The CIES Football Observatory values Haaland at an eye-watering value of between €150 million and €200 million, with only Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford valued higher than the 20-year-old wonderkid, so the Blues will likely have to pay a significant transfer fee in order to sign him this summer.
