Hudson-Odoi’s message to Lampard
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has opened up on his lack of game time under Frank Lampard this season and insisted it will never stop him from smiling.
Hudson-Odoi has started just twice for the Blues in the Premier League this season, with the majority of his minutes coming in other competitions.
When asked if he knew why he has barely featured for Chelsea in the league this season by Sky Sports (via the Express ), the 20-year-old forward said: “No – I’m trying hard in training every day, I’m giving 110 per cent in training and in games.

“No matter when the opportunity comes, I’m going to try and continue to do my best and contribute to the team – scoring and assisting. Hopefully more opportunities will come.
“I’m always smiling – that’s the main thing. I like to smile, be positive no matter the situation.
“I’m just happy to keep trying my best, get the opportunities to play and improve every game. I’m really happy with that.”
Lampard breaks silence
Lampard has insisted he is not concerned over recent reports suggesting that former Chelsea boss Avram Grant is set to return to west London.
Sky Sports reported earlier this week that Roman Abramovich was considering inserting Grant into Lampard’s set-up at Stamford Bridge to offer his experience and support.
The former Blues boss worked with the current Chelsea head coach during his time in London in the 2007/08 season.
Lampard, speaking about the potential return of the 65-year-old, insisted he wasn’t concerned with the speculation.
“I don’t know anything about it so I won’t go any further on that,” Lampard said. “But in terms of football clubs now, they are huge businesses, a lot of…
