Leicester vs Chelsea live: Kick-off time, confirmed team news, goal and score updates

For Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, every game is a must-win as he battles to save his job. Tonight’s clash against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium is no different.

The Blues have won just two of their last seven top-flight fixtures and currently sit seventh in the Premier League table. Given the £200 million-plus investment in the squad in the summer, it’s not what was expected.

In contrast, Leicester have the opportunity to jump to the top of the table if they’re to overcome Chelsea tonight. And Lampard believes Brendan Rodgers’ side are in the hunt for the title.

“They’re in it, for sure,” the Blues head coach said yesterday. “The way they are playing, getting into that position in the league, it is the same as last season.

“We managed to get above them at the back end of last season but it is a big ask for us. They are a very good team, very good individuals and a really good coach in Brendan [Rodgers] so we know that they are in the race.”

Chelsea are without N’Golo Kante due to a hamstring injury but Lampard has no other injury concerns, which will make his team selection difficult.

And we will have all the build-up to the game, the team news, live updates and much more throughout the evening below.
