Chelsea are already eyeing up a transfer for Erling Haaland and will support new manager Thomas Tuchel with funds.

The Blues’ interest in the Norwegian has been growing throughout the season as their own star forward Timo Werner struggles to find the net.

Borussia Dortmund’s scoring machine, who has 37 goals in 37 games for the Bundesliga side since joining last January, is a big fan of Frank Lampard – who was replaced as manager by Thomas Tuchel this week.

But the Daily Mail have reported that the club’s interest in the 20-year-old has not changed with the new managerial arrival.

The new manager is expected to have backing in the transfer window amid the requirement to secure Champions League football next season.
