Chelsea DJ makes grim joke before kick-off » Chelsea News

Chelsea are in action at Stamford Bridge tonight against Wolves, just 48 hours after sacking Frank Lampard.

The new manager is in place, and Chelsea have moved on yet again, with a fan favourite chucked onto the discard pile. Thomas Tuchel is in the hotseat now, and who knows how long he will last. Lampard got 18 months, just about.

The DJ at Stamford Bridge tonight was clearly in a sardonic mood after the removal of the club legend, and he chose to play the aptly titled “Another One Bites The Dust” by Queen just before kickoff.

‘Another One Bites The Dust’ by Queen plays on the Stamford Bridge PA system.

I wish I was joking. #CFC #CHEWOL

It’s a step up from the music you usually get before kickoff at football grounds, and we certainly think a pointed choice. We would imagine that whoever is in charge of putting on the tunes on is a big fan of the club and of Frank, so we wouldn’t take this as any kind of disrespect.
