Abramovich to fund Haaland transfer
Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that Chelsea will make Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland their main target to replace Olivier Giroud.
“We know how good he has been since he moved there and he has a release clause of 75 million euros, but that release clause is in the summer of 2022,” he said.
“Because of the pandemic, most clubs will not have money to spend in the summer, but of course we saw last summer that as far as Chelsea are concerned, they view that as an opportunity.
“Roman Abramovich is one of the richest men in the world, so Chelsea have the money to do the deal in the summer if they can convince Dortmund to sell and convince Haaland to come to Stamford Bridge.”

Haaland has also been linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Billy Gilmour has made a request to Chelsea’s hierarchy to be allowed to leave on loan for the remainder of the season.
That is according to a report by the Daily Mail, who insist that Gilmour has asked to leave the club on a temporary basis to get more first-team minutes under his belt.
This is in an attempt to bolster his chances of getting into Scotland’s squad for this summer’s European Championships as he will need to be playing regularly between now and the end of the season.
