Thomas Tuchel had his first winning interview with Chelsea TV after the game against Burnley, and as well as praising the players in his charge, he also pointed out where they’d gone wrong.
Asked whether he had been worried as his side failed to make their dominance in the first half way, he admitted “we lacked precision.”
It was Timo Werner who had the best chance of that opening period, spooning a cutback over. His boss must have had that in mind when talking about those crucial moments where we might have had the lead.
