(Video): “We’re on a good trajectory”

Chelsea were in something of a tailspin in the final weeks of Frank Lampard’s reign, only able to get good results against lower league opposition in the cup, and looking totally devoid of confidence against any team with anything about them in the Premier League.

Their first two games under Thomas Tuchel hardly saw them set the world alight, but there was a certain steel returned to the team and signs of increasing cohesion. The discussion on Chelsea TV after the Burnley game was interesting, and very positive – “we’re on a good trajectory” Zac Djellab said, and was greeted by a chorus of nods.
