The January transfer window has only just ended and Thomas Tuchel has only just arrived as the new Chelsea boss, but already we reportedly have the three-man centre back shortlist for the summer.
Two names we have already been highly aware of for sometime now – Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig, and David Alaba from Real Madrid, with the latter becoming a free agent in the summer.
Strained relations, ruthlessness, week of turmoil, a tactical genius, and new reign – Just a few words that feature in my dramatic latest Chelsea FC Newsletter #Issue12 – Read HERE!
However, as reported by BILD’s Christian Falk, Chelsea have those two names on their shortlist, as well as 25-year old Bayern centre back Niklas Sule.
True ✅ On the shortlist of @ChelseaFC is beside David Alaba and Dayot Upamecano also Niklas Süle @SPORTBILD @FCBayern

Sule is a giant at 6ft 5in tall and has been capped 29 times for Germany.
All three targets would not be easy pursuits, and both Alaba and Upamecano have other top sides chasing them as well as Chelsea.
With Tuchel at the helm though, it may give Chelsea a boost in all three players with their German connections and experience of the Bundesliga.
