With so many attacking options, the German has a task on his hands finding the best combination.
But the former Paris St-Germain manager’s first mission will be to raise the confidence of his below-par stars, with the likes of Ziyech, Werner and Kai Havertz searching for form.
It means every training session is vital, especially considering the amount of games the Blues are going through.

And Ziyech was not afraid to show off his skills – even if it was at the expense of his team-mate Werner.
With the German hunting down the 27-year-old, the playmaker swivelled on the ball to get it on his favoured left foot.
It left Werner on the ground while he searches for his first league goal since November.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Tuchel has explained his philosophy as he looks to implement his style of play at Stamford Bridge.
“For that we need a good relationship between the players and me,” he said.
“The results will hopefully follow. In the Premier League you cannot control the result.
