Rio Ferdinand explains how Callum Hudson-Odoi’s new position works between the lines » Chelsea News

Rio Ferdinand was on punditry duties for BT Sport tonight, and he had some really interesting insight on how Callum Hudson-Odoi’s position had changed in the new system being implemented by Thomas Tuchel.

Of course CHO wasn’t at wing back tonight, instead playing in one of the sort of inside forward roles behind Timo Werner.

Tonight wasn’t his best game, but he still looked bright, got shots away and looked generally threatened throughout his 65 minutes on the pitch. Rio pointed out just how effective he’s been in the two week flurry of matches since Tuchel arrived.
