Jorginho drops Instagram hint over Thomas Tuchel’s team selection for Sheffield Utd vs Chelsea

Head coach Thomas Tuchel will be hoping to maintain his unbeaten start to life at Chelsea when his side lock horns with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this evening.

The Blues, who defeated the Blades 4-1 in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge back in November, have enjoyed a solid start to life under the German, winning two and drawing one of his first three games in charge.

After back-to-back home clashes with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley, Tuchel sampled the taste of a Premier League away game for the first time on Thursday evening as he watched his side defeat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Italian midfield ace Jorginho netted the only goal of the game via the penalty spot to ensure Chelsea secured a fully deserved win.

Having faced a Spurs side with aspirations of securing a place in the UEFA Champions League for next season, tonight’s showdown with the Blades will be a completely different kettle of fish. Having been on a seemingly never-ending losing trend for much of the season, the South Yorkshire side have shown signs of life in recent weeks, winning two of their last three Premier League matches.

One of those two wins did feature an impressive 2-1 away success over Manchester United, providing proof that Chris Wilder’s side still have fight within their bellies to try and pull off the great escape.

With that warning sign likely to have been focused on by Tuchel, he will be leaving nothing to chance this evening, with him likely to field a full strength line-up once again. But with the fixtures continuing to come thick and fast, as well as a second trip of the week to South Yorkshire to come on Thursday evening for the clash with Barnsley in the FA Cup, he may be tempted to make changes in some areas.
