Kovacic’s passionate reaction as Chelsea retake the lead » Chelsea News

Chelsea almost threw the game way tonight when Antonio Rudiger passed into his own net, but fortunately for the Blues, their opposition handed them a goal in return.

Timo Werner was brought down, Jorginho slotted the penalty, and Mateo Kovacic, perhaps sensing how important it had been to strike back right away, celebrated wildly with clenched fists.

We’re always keen to see that kind of passion, but now we need to see some quality as the team look to see the game out without any more silly mistakes.
