Chelsea could well be very much involved with the next destination of both players, and it is in fact Boateng who they have reached an agreement to sign, according to a report from Todofichajes today, as cited by Team Talk.
The 32-year old German international will certainly bring any potential new club vast experience, and Chelsea certainly appear to be in the hunt for a new centre back.
However, whether he fits the bill of the type of defender that Chelsea are looking to bring in or not, remains to be seen.
The report suggests he has been a long-term club target for the club.
