Chelsea evening headlines as Thomas Tuchel addresses Upamecano and Haaland transfer links

Terry makes Mount prediction

Mount was handed the responsibility of the Chelsea captaincy in the fourth round of the FA Cup against Luton Town and Terry believes the former Derby County loanee has the credentials to make the armband a permanent fixture of his match-day attire.

“He [Mason Mount] has been the best Chelsea player this season,” Terry said. “He’s been here since the age of six, he trains very well and is showing leadership qualities.
