Thiago Silva, Tammy Abraham: Latest Chelsea team news and injury updates ahead of Everton clash

Chelsea will be looking to build on Thursday evening’s victory over Liverpool when they welcome Everton to Stamford Bride on Monday evening.

After back-to-back draws against both Southampton and Manchester United, the Blues, who lost 1-0 to the Toffees in their last meeting, got back to winning ways with an impressive 1-0 win at Anfield.

Mason Mount netted the only goal of the game shortly before half time to lift the Blues back into the top-four and extend their unbeaten start to life under head coach Thomas Tuchel to ten matches.

Whilst it is no secret that the Blues are in impressive form, Monday evening’s showdown will be a tough test against an Everton side who also have ambitions of finishing inside the Champions League places this season.

The Brazilian has made a return to training but Tuchel confirmed the defender would not be risked against Liverpool.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, the Blues head coach said: “Thiago made his first training with the team but did not finish the last exercise, just to be taking no risk.
