What Tuchel told Jorginho, Kante, and Kovacic after taking them to one side when he arrived » Chelsea News

We have been reading an interesting report from ESPN today detailing the differences and how things have changed at Chelsea since Thomas Tuchel took charge.

You will never find us disrespecting a club legend on this site, nor will I go back into the ‘who did this and who said what’ drama, but there was clearly big issues between Frank Lampard and some of the players, and Lampard clearly lost some of the dressing room.

I also have some significant exclusive news on Chelsea’s pursuits of Erling Haaland and Gianluigi Donnarumma here.

We don’t like to dwell on things and we have been looking forward ever since Tuchel took charge, and he has been doing a good job, that is undoubted.

One of the major things that Julien Laurens writes for ESPN on his article yesterday, is the changes in openness and communication, Tuchel has really opened that up at the club.

In fact, when he arrived he took Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, and N’Golo Kante to one side and told all three of them that he would be relying on them to lead by example at the base of Chelsea’s midfield, but that he would rotate them depending on the game plan, their fitness and the opposition, according to the report.

And boy how that has worked well so far, all three have been superb.
