Hakim Ziyech will be walking the disciplinary tight-rope when Chelsea return to Champions League action on Wednesday night.
The Blues, who go into the quarter-final first-leg against Porto on the back of a 5-2 home loss against West Brom in the Premier League at the weekend, will be favourites to reach the semi-final.
However, they can’t afford a repeat of their poor defensive showing as Porto have shown they are capable of causing an upset after overcoming Juventus at the round of 16 stage.
With that said, the omens are good for Chelsea as they emerged victorious the last time the two sides met in a Champions League knockout tie – back in the 2006/07 season.

Despite having relatively few injury problems to contend with ahead of the game against Porto, the Blues do have two key players who are walking a suspension tightrope.
A booking for Ziyech on Wednesday will see him miss the second leg.
And the same applies to midfielder Mateo Kovacic after receiving two bookings in the group phase, although the Croatia international has already said he won’t alter his game.
“It will not affect me tomorrow. I am just focused on the first game,” he said in a pre-match press conference.
“I will not look at the second game. I will go confident and prepared as always and see what happens in the game.”
The summer transfer window is just around the corner.
And the rumour mill is already starting to pick up speed.
New Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel will surely be looking to strengthen the squad he was given when he took over from Frank Lampard and there have already been a number of top players linked with a move, including Erling Haaland.
The striker is thought to be the Blues’ number on transfer priority.

Although, the risk of suspension will leave Thomas Tuchel…
