Marcos Alonso admits training ground incident was real but insists there’s no issue » Chelsea News

Given that our last manager’s tenure ended with rumours of training ground disputes, the fact that we’re hearing those same whispers under a new manager – and after just one defeat – is a little worrying.

Rumours of a training ground incident between Antonio Rudiger and Kepa Arrizabalaga were dismissed as nonsense by some – but unexpectedly today Marcos Alonso has done a video interview with BeinSports where he admits it happened.

He laughs it off and points out that it’s hardly a rare occurrence on football training pitches, but it’s still odd to hear him being so open about the whole thing.

You can see the left back speaking in the clip embedded here:

“It’s nothing new… we just need to take the positives and move on!”
