Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel’s team selection for tonight’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash with Portuguese outfit FC Porto at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Spain has sparked a reaction from the Blues’ supporters on social media.
The Blues, who enter this evening’s clash looking to take a giant stride towards the semi-finals of the competition for the first time since 2013/14, will be looking to get back to winning ways after suffering a shock 5-2 Premier League defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday lunchtime.
Despite taking the lead through Christian Pulisic, Chelsea, who had centre-back Thiago Silva sent-off, were blown away by the relegation-threatened Baggies, who delivered a devastating performance to inflict a first defeat on Tuchel since he arrived at Stamford Bridge back in January.

Antonio Rudiger, Mateo Kovacic and Timo Werner have all been named in the German’s starting line-up this evening, as Tuchel looks to guide a team to the semi-finals of the Champions League for the second season in a row.
As well as Rudiger and Werner all being handed starting berths, Reece James and Ben Chilwell have also been named in the starting line-up.
Chelsea starting line-up: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Chilwell; Werner, Mount; Havertz. Substitutes: Kepa, Caballero, Silva, Zouma, Emerson,…
