When it comes to the art of being able to shout about young and exciting talent, Chelsea are not short of an option or two.
The Blues, who won 2-0 against FC Porto in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 tie last night, boast a squad packed to the rafters with exciting talent that will almost certainly go on to achieve star-studded careers at the very top of world football.
From the big-money acquisitions of Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic, to academy graduates such as Reece James and Mason Mount, head coach Thomas Tuchel’s squad is awash with exciting talent that could almost certainly be the torchbearer for this Chelsea team for years to come.

Whilst Chelsea are able to call upon more experienced heads to help them, such as Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Olivier Giroud, they do boast a whole host of young players, such as Billy Gilmour, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mount, Pulisic and Havertz.
Whilst all five of those players have a lot of hard work to do in the months and years that lie ahead in an attempt to turn themselves into genuine world-class superstars, the current signs making encouraging viewing, with all of them ticking along nicely in their development.
And for Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi, Tuchel has three players within his ranks that are destined for the very, very top.
That is because, last year, the attacker made a list of 15 youngsters to watch for a Topps ‘Lionel Messi Designed Set’ card pack, with a whole host of big-name stars, including Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe and Phil Foden of Manchester City, featuring amongst it.
As well as those two making the cut, Mount, Pulisic and Havertz were also included.
