According to The Telegraph, they are targeting one of either Erling Haaland from Dortmund, or Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan, who of course is a former Chelsea player.
However, Haaland looks like he will be a very expensive signing, and Chelsea might have to look elsewhere instead of him or Lukaku, if the latest report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is to be believed.
He claims that Lukaku is not planning on leaving Inter this summer, and the player himself has just publicly said he is ‘proud’ to be an Inter Milan player.
Romelu Lukaku to Sky Sport: “I’m really proud to be an Inter player. I’ve a special feeling with this club, that’s why I decided to celebrate around the city today with our fans”. He’s not planning to leave the club in the summer. 🇧🇪🔵 #Inter
