Thomas Tuchel gives unconvincing reason for leaving Tammy Abraham out again » Chelsea News

Chelsea lost 1-0 to Leicester City in the FA Cup final yesterday, capping off a terrible week for the club.

The frustrating thing is it comes right after what was one of the best weeks the club has had for a long time, but that’s another story for now.

Tammy Abraham is Chelsea’s join top goal scorer this season, and he is their top scorer in the FA Cup. He had become their ‘cup striker’, as Kepa Arrizabalaga became their ‘cup goalkeeper’. Kepa started yesterday, Abraham wasn’t even on the bench.

Furthermore, Tuchel once again named two left backs instead of Abraham.

But once again, Tuchel just puts it down to not being able to name enough subs in his squad, and having ‘tough decisions’ in his unconvincing reply to the question here below…
