The board at the Theatre of Dreams, though, look far from ready to rest on their laurels.
United are understood to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park, with recent days having seen Wolves’ Ruben Neves tipped to join Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes at the heart of a star-studded midfield in Manchester.
Strong reports coming out that Manchester United are seriously interested in singing Ruben Neves and Bruno Fernandes is pushing for the move.

As outlined above, though, on Thursday, major progress towards pushing what could prove to be the deal to truly take United to the next level has been made.
As per a report from Goal, Raphael Varane, heavily linked with a Premier League switch of late, has agreed to the terms of a five-year contract with Solskjaer’s side.
The contract in question would see the Frenchman handed what is described as a ‘significant’ hike to his current â¬6 million-per-season wage packet with Real Madrid.
As things stand, no agreement has been found between the respective boards at Old Trafford and the Bernabeu, but Varane himself happy…
